Canadian Faith Event Triumphantly Celebrates Unity and the Successful Conclusion of an Inspiring Gathering!

Tens of thousands from across Canada and around the world gathered for an uplifting three-day Annual Convention.

Canada’s largest and longest-running Muslim Convention, Jalsa Salana Canada, came to a triumphant close on July 13, 2025, at The International Centre.

More than 23,000 people from 47 countries, including non-Muslim guests, embraced the spirit of togetherness at Jalsa Salana Canada, which was also broadcast live on Muslim Television Ahmadiyya (MTA). The event resonated globally, with hundreds of thousands tuning in through MTA and various social media platforms.

A dedicated team of over 6,000 volunteers poured their hearts into organizing Jalsa Salana Canada, facilitating an array of immersive presentations, ethnic bazaars, art exhibits, and poetry. Throughout this remarkable gathering, more than 150,000 fresh meals were joyfully shared with attendees.

A special panel discussion featured esteemed voices such as Amira Elghawaby, Canada’s Special Representative on Combatting Islamophobia. Elected officials, including Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow, prioritized the event to show their support.

In a gesture of unity, the Mayor of Brampton, Patrick Brown, announced the naming of “Ahmadiyya Gate” in Brampton, Ontario, highlighting the strong bonds between the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada and the City of Brampton.

One of the core aspirations of the convention was to counteract the divisive tensions arising from global conflicts.

“In contrast to those sowing seeds of division, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat uses Jalsa Salana as a platform to bridge the divide and call for peace and unity,” declared Mr. Lal Khan Malik, National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Canada. “During these three days, people of various faiths, backgrounds, and ethnicities came together in an inspiring spirit of togetherness.”
