Peace be upon you, and may God’s mercy envelop you.
There is none worthy of worship except Allah. All praise belongs to Him alone.
A true Muslim is one who emerges from the spirit of such gatherings—gatherings where hearts are kindled by the love of God. When a person earnestly treads the path shown by Allah, misguidance becomes impossible. Such a person cannot appear negligent in fulfilling divine commandments.
Only those rise who steadfastly follow Allah’s teachings with sincerity and resolve. Indeed, Allah has commanded that righteousness take firm root in our hearts—for even if everything else crumbles, taqwa remains the enduring foundation. And this… this is essential. Absolutely essential.
The wise understand: Allah’s pleasure is earned only through the presence of piety. That is the path by which His approval is attained.
After submitting in worship, the next stage is to strive for God’s protection in all worldly affairs. The one who truly fears God preserves within themselves a purity born of restraint. It is at that point that the soul finds its fulfillment. Such a person becomes complete, righteous, and upright—for Allah is with those who remain in awe of Him.
I can say with a clear conscience: I have not taken a single penny unjustly from another. The one who shows perfect sincerity for the sake of Allah—ready even to lay down their life for Him—is the very person whom this message addresses.
Now look around. We, too, claim to be on this path. But how many among us have ever truly sacrificed? For some, even the concept of sacrifice remains foreign—nothing more than a token concern, an outer performance.
For those addicted to dishonesty, bribery, or deceit—Allah has ordained appropriate recompense. Such individuals remain lost until they reform.
We must prepare not only for physical nourishment but also for spiritual sustenance. History bears witness: even in the darkest of times, the faithful are tested. Just as you wash your dishes before placing food in them, cleanse the vessel of your heart before receiving spiritual nourishment. Otherwise, even the purest sustenance turns foul in an impure container.
This illusion—that merely debating sin offers release—is itself a deception. Life is a battlefield—an ongoing struggle against Satan and the lower self. Sometimes you win; other times you falter.
Islam speaks of a third stage: a moment when all battles are won, and perfect victory is achieved. That is when the heart proclaims with certainty: “Indeed, there is a God.” The ego weakens. The soul elevates. One entrusts everything to Allah and firmly believes in His perfect attributes.
What Allah severs is not for man to unite. But what He joins must bind us together. Our community needs such unity—built upon the bonds that Allah Himself forges.
And when Allah’s help descends, victory is assured. One then enters into success—not for glory or reward—but out of pure devotion. Allah records every deed in His register. So keep your own spiritual ledger. Reflect: has today shown progress over yesterday? If not, are we truly growing?
Even if you feel elevated today, remember: a dispute with your brother undoes much good. Such division must not occur. Ask yourself: why did it happen? How was it allowed?
There are some who, even when presented with truth, take no benefit. How can they? Yet even a single witness—if God-fearing and sincere—can awaken hearts. That which truly comes from Allah settles in the hearts of the pure.
Do not grieve your brothers and sisters. If someone commits an injustice, the consequences reach far beyond them. Blame does not heal wounds—it only entangles you in shared fault. Even if you are innocent, failing to restrain wrongdoing brings collective accountability before God.
True principles require lawful conduct and honest self-evaluation. Today we have gathered for precisely this: self-reflection. The station of repentance is reserved for those whose hearts remain awake. No matter how pious yesterday was, its worth before Allah is not guaranteed. O community—God draws near when we strive for renewal.
Look inward: what is the condition of your heart? Mere words do not bind you to God—if your speech and your spirit are at odds, the bond is broken. When Allah sees this hypocrisy, He does not accept surface declarations. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) was the embodiment of sincerity—let his model guide you always.
Fulfill the promises you made to Allah. Do not let them slip away like forgotten vows. Islam commands us repeatedly: fortify your faith, so that divine grace may descend swiftly. Live for your tomorrow.
Ask yourself—do we truly possess taqwa? The Qur’an offers its standard. Allah set the goal clearly: that He encompasses all things. We, by comparison, are like fragile earthen pots—humble vessels, waiting to be filled.
The earliest recipients of divine guidance were not worldly. They were sincere seekers. Take heed from their example. Let not arrogance blind you. Do not consider anyone beneath you.
If anger rises quickly within you, take that as a sign—something is spiritually amiss. Islam is not a viral trend; it is a sacred trust to be used with purpose and principle.
Let us criticize less—and build more.
To reach the heights of service to Islam, one must first prepare the self. You are the shield, the steed, the strength at the frontier of faith. As a warhorse is trained for battle, so too must you discipline your soul—strengthen it with faith and fortitude.
The grace of Allah descends upon those who uphold both righteousness and etiquette. But when Muslims fail in character, Islam is tarnished by their hands. And the world notices.
Those who mock Islam are not always laughing—they often point to our own shortcomings. We become the cause of ridicule—not Islam itself.
Across lands, punishments are carried out in the name of honour. We must change this. Let not our followers defame the name of Islam. Let us uphold character. Even if some act with ignorance, do not follow them into error.
Those who commit evil are remembered—not with pride, but with pain. The Prophet Muhammad (sa) called himself the spiritual leader of the faithful—not to boast, but to guide. Even when one among us stumbles, the world sees him not just as an individual, but as a bearer of Islam’s name.
Protect your honour. The harm of disgrace spreads beyond the self.
Why do so many souls in the world wander without purpose? Those who return to God are reborn. Summon all your strength to destroy weakness within. Wherever you are, raise your hands in prayer with sincere conviction—for hands lifted in faith never return empty.
When I see someone embodying goodness—even for a moment—I feel compelled to keep calling others toward it. That must be our sacrifice: even if others remain silent, we must speak and write and work. By action and supplication, we lead.
Why have we come here? To unify hearts. Let unity prevail.
No land—not even Bhopal—can bear the responsibility of a global mission if it lacks sincerity. If we are careless, how will we serve the world? What is our true commitment?
Allah says in the Qur’an: do not treat these words as mere stories. If your heart listens—truly listens—then you will find a deep connection. Not merely a surface bond, but one that links you to the Being who sent this message from the heavens. If these words reach such souls, nothing else remains to be said.
Our beloved Prophet ﷺ lives on in triumph—until the Day of Resurrection. Others, from different backgrounds, will join this divine cause. But true success will only come when we rise to meet the standard—when we reach the peak.
I say this: you are connected to the one sent from above. Listen to his words with your heart. Act upon them. Prepare yourselves. Let those who stumble after pledging be lifted. Let effort be our ladder. Without striving, tomorrow will never come.
Let us bring benefit through sacrifice. Enter the realm of sincerity. Marry action with prayer. Let us confront both aspects of our mission—internal and external—with courage.
And so… let it begin.
